Why Attend?

Just recently The Government of Indonesia launched a program called Program Improvement Movement-based Food Production Corporation (GP3K), Ministry of State Owned Enterprises (SOEs) will disburse the fund amounting to Rp1, 3 trillionand Rp1, 5 trillion. Proceeds will be used throughout 2011.

In addition to that Ministry of SOEs have set up a fund of Rp 4, 1 trillion for the strengthening of these programs are targeted until 2014.

The program itself will begin in May this year on an ongoing basis. Furthermore, the purpose of the program is to increase the productivity of rice, corn, and soybeans at its optimal level. The five commodities are assigned to the program are rice, soybeans, corn, sugar, and cattle breeders.

The program is designed to support achievement of national food surplus state-owned enterprises and optimize according to the roles and functions and also for the cultivation of crops to farmers

The member companies of GP3K which mostly Fertilizers and Seed Producers are instructed to nurse hundreds acres of land all over Indonesia to enhance the productivity of farmers in order to meet the target of national food security.

Those GP3K companies are confirmed to exhibit and be part of CropWorld South East Asia to discuss with the opportunities of cooperation with private sectors mainly in research development and equipment providing to help farmers enhancing their production capabilities.
